I actually let out a gasp when I saw this jacket, and then sighed sadly; from McQueen's mesmerising last collection Fall/Winter '10.
The look book mentions "Alexander McQueen’s autumn collection is inspired by Byzantine art, the carvings of Grinling Gibbons, and Old Master paintings and altar pieces including, in particular, works by Jean Fouquet, Sandro Botticelli, Stephan Lochner, Hans Memling, Hugo van der Goes, Jean Hey and Heironymus Bosch".
Yes, yes, yes, YES!!!
See the whole stunning vision here and then sniffle and feel sad for a bit that this brilliant mind isn't here anymore.
